Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is softer in the original, with the black tending more towards grey. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a small linear impasto loss 20 cm beneath the upper left corner and a small indentation to the same edge 10 cm above this. There is a further minute speck of paint loss to the extreme upper right corner of the work. There is some very light wear to the extreme bottom right corner tip of the work. There is a small spot of unobtrusive retouching in the upper centre of the top right hand quadrant that fluoresces under ultra-violet light.
