The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is much brighter and more vibrant in the original, with the background tending more towards bright silver grey
(i) The red tends more towards raspberry and the green towards grass green.
(ii) The red of the upper section of the composition tends more towards raspberry while the red of the bottom towards orange and the pistachio tends more towards green grass
Condition:
(i) This work is in very good condition.
(ii) This work is in very good condition. There are some faint handling marks to the turnover edges of the work and a further minute handling mark to the centre of the bottom edge.
(i)-(ii) No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
