This work is in very good condition. There are scattered finger marks to the surface of the table where there are stable cracks inherent to the artist's choice of medium.

Franz West was selected as the Wolfgang-Hahn-Award winner in 1998. The Gesellschaft für Moderne Kunst acquired an important and large Crazy Kantine installation consisting of 25 tables and 100 chairs which remains on Permanent Loan to the Museum Ludwig.
