Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original work with the paper tone tends more towards cream and there are more light green undertones towards the centre of the composition. Condition: Executed on two joined sheets of thick-wove cream paper, this work is in very good condition and is securely hinged to the backing board in several places on the reverse. The top and bottom edges of the upper sheet as well as the left edge of the bottom sheet are deckled. There is slight undulation throughout, most notably towards the bottom of the composition.
