Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is richer and deeper in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are faint vertical and horizontal parallel lines running across the composition, which are inherent to the work's execution. There are some very faint hairline scratch marks throughout the composition which are also original to the work and are only visible upon very close inspection. There is a tiny rub mark approximately 8cm below the centre right of the top edge and a minute speck of paint loss adjacent to the upper left corner. There is light wear to the lower left corner tip as well as in several places on the extreme right edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
