Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is more vibrant in the original with the red tending more towards raspberry red and the paper background more towards ivory. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the three collaged areas of graph paper, two of which are located in the right of the upper left quadrant and one towards the upper right corner.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is a light undulation to the paper throughout, particularly along the top edge. There are several artist's pinholes in each of the four corners, most notably to the upper two. There are three thin rub marks to the extreme top edge of the composition, all of which are inherent to the artist's working process.
