'The window motif of the painting is something that has always fascinated and captivated me. The notion of standing there in front of a thick glass plate, which opens up in a wall and reveals a view into a parallel world which obeys laws that are barely compatible with our rational comprehension, is the most desirable stimulation of an extra-sensory preception using the sensory instrumentation of the painter."
