Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is richer and deeper, with the grey in the upper right corner tending more towards a deep dove grey and the whites of the semi-circles more nuanced in colour. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the reflective mirror pannel at the centre of the composition. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some undulation to the canvas in the lower and left sections. There is an intermittent stretcher bar mark to the left side of the lower edge of the composition. Some light wear is noticeable upon close inspection to all four corners. There is a very light rub mark to the right of the upper left corner. There is some extremely light tarnishing, surface dirt, and drip marks to the mirror in places, as well as some media accretions, the majority of which are inherent to the artist's working process. There are a few minute pinprick-sized losses to the lower right part of the composition in particular, and in a few instances elsewhere. No restoration is apparent under UV lgiht.
