Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the overall tonality is deeper and richer and the brown has less orange undertones.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are two very faint rub marks at the top left hand corner and a further small mark at the top right hand corner, a mark at the centre of the top edge and a further mark to the right of the figure's hat at the top. There are several fibres adhering to the surface of the composition, particularly at the lower half. No restoration is apparent under UV light.
