Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the paper tone tends more towards cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the mount in the top two corners which have extremely pale associated handling marks. There is some pale time-staining around the extreme edges and a tiny media accretion to the left of the cigarette on the left extreme edge. Close inspection reveals two minute fly spots to the lower part of the lower left quadrant and two tiny specks of discolouration to the lower left side of the lower right quadrant. A small linear surface irregularity is visible in raking light under the figure's left eye.
