Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original, with the green in the grass tending more towards electric green, and the white in the flowers more to creamy-white in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Each of the four corners is very slightly rubbed resulting in a few minute isolated media losses, notably to the lower right and upper left corners. Upon very close inspection there are several minute pinprick-sized spots of media losses to places of the extreme overturn edges and a further tiny pinprick-sized spot of media loss to the green pigment between the lower two flowers. There are two minute media accretions: one to the top right petal of the bottom right flower and one to the right hand petal of the bottom left flower. A few extremely fine and unobtrusive stable hairline tension cracks are visible on close inspection in places to the extreme overturn edges. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
