Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler, with more yellow hues in the cardboard in the original. The catalogue illustration does not fully convey the varied surface texture apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is an area of light trsanaparent media spashes int he lower right quadrant. On close examination there are a few minute pinprick sized media losses and tiny surface abrasions to the lower left quadrant and in a few isolated sopts elsewhere. There is a small spot of wear right of centre on the lower extreme edge and a further small line of wear towards the top left corner on the upper extreme edge. A few faint rub marks are visible on close inspection to the upper section and there are two small splits to the canvas towards the top part of the right extreme edge next to the cardboard, original to the work's execution. A tiny spot of discolouration is visible to the blank canvas at the centre of the right extreme edge. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
