Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the paper tone is richer, tending more towards rich cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to a fibreboard at all four corners, and is slightly time-stained, with an extremely fine margin of very pale mount-staining visible to all four edges. On close examination two minute pale media accretions are visible to the upper part of the left edge and there are a number of pale spots of foxing to the lower left quadrant and in a few places elsewhere. There is an intermittent extremely fine repaired broken crease running along the centre of the lower extreme edge, a short unobtrusive flattened crease to the lower right hand corner and a very fine short crease to the upper right hand corner. Three minute short tears are visible upon close inspection towards the bottom of the right extreme edge and the lower right corner is very slightly creased. On close inspection there are a number of tiny media losses to thicker spots of pigment.
