Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the paper tones are warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Hinged to the mount at the top two corners, there are several light spots of foxing throughout the sheet, only visible upon close inspection. There is extremely faint wear to all four extreme edges, particularly at the lower and upper left corner tips. There are three pinhead sized media accretions at the centre of the lower edge, probably intrinsic to the artist's working process. Examination under a raking light reveals several extremely light scuff marks to the pigmented areas. There is a tiny spot of wear to the centre of the upper half of the composition to a raised area of pigment.
