Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant with the red tending more to burgundy and the yellow to lemon in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some very minor wear and canvas draw to the extreme lower right and left hand corners. There is a very faint rub mark in the yellow area towards the centre of the top edge. There is some very fine stable craquelure towards the lower left hand edge. There are a few hairline tension cracks towards the bottom left hand corner. There are two minute spots of paint loss to the extreme overturn top edge towards the right hand corner. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
