Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the overall tonality is softer with the dark blue in the lower right hand corner tending more towards electric blue; the light blue patches at the centre to turquoise; the peach vertical stripes to the right to salmon pink in the original.
Condition: This work is in good condition. Hinged to the mount at the top two edges on the reverse, there is a slight undulation to the base sheet, particularly towards the top of the left hand edge where the marker pen has been smudged by water marks, visible in the catalogue illustration. There is a small spot of paper loss to the lower edge of the base sheet at the lower left hand corner and several very faint spots of foxing throughout. The marker pen borders are very slightly faded throughout. The image sheet is lifting slightly at the lower left hand edge and has a very faint flattened crease to the top left hand corner. There is a very faint media mark just above the centre of the main composition.
