Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the brown patina is richer and warmer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the three-dimensionality of the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Some dust fibres have adhered to the work's surface throughout. Oxidisation has occured throughout, consistently with the artist's chosen medium. There are few scattered spots of orange media accretion to the scroll motifs in the upper third section of the sculpture.
