Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer and deeper in the original, with the white in the paper tending more towards cream and the blue ink towards black-blue in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper and held floating between two panes of plexiglass. The sheet has been folded along the central horizontal and vertical axes and displays the resultant creases. There are very faint discolourations to all four corners as a result of the adhesive tape to the reverse. There is a pinhead sized spot of foxing to the centre of the top left hand quadrant and a further spot at the centre of the right hand edge. There are some very small and light creases to the centre of the bottom and top extreme edges and several very faint handling marks throughout, which would appear to be inherent to the artist's working process.
