Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tends more towards true silver in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper, the sheet bulges very slightly towards the centre. There are tiny artist's pinholes in all corners of the composition. There is a slight indentation to the left of the centre of the top edge, possibly intrinsic to the artist's working process and a small spot of imperfection to the pigment at the lower left hand corner, probably as a result of the artist's choice of medium. There are several very faint spots of discolouration above the top right hand corner of the composition.
