Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer, with the white tending towards cream in the original. The catalogue illustration does not fully convey the rich texture of the felt, and the three-dimensionality it lends to the work's surface. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are a few scattered spots of light surface discolouration, notably to the upper centre of the right edge, to the right side above the central divide, to the left side of the central divide and to the lower centre of the lower right quadrant. Upon close inspection there are two minute specks of media accretion adhering to the surface: one to the centre-left of the horizontal divide, and the other adjacent to to bottom left corner.
