Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original.
Conditon:
This work is in very good condition. The sponge is slightly loose in the stand. Some fine surface dust and dirt fibres have collected in the recesses and there are a few tiny white fibres adhering to the centre of the left hand side. On close examination there are a few tiny light handling marks to the extremeties of the sponge throughout. There is some surface dirt, tarnishing, light oxidation and fine rub marks to the metal rod and base.
