Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate though the paper tone is lighter and tends more toward rich cream and the fainter areas of ink to peach in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Attached to the mount on the reverse along the edges at intervals, there are tiny artist's pinholes at the centre of the top edge. There are several very light creases to the extreme right hand edge near the top and small spots of wear and very minor and intermittent spots of associated paint loss to all four extreme edges, visible in the catalogue illustration. There is an extremely faint discolouration to the exposed areas of paper, probably caused by ageing.
