Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is softer, with the yellow tending more towards a citrus-green, the red in the central square more to burgundy, and the blue more to navy blue in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are two tiny spots of media accretion to the right of centre approximately 10 cm. above the bottom edge, as well as another tiny spot below the centre of the red square bottom edge. There is a very slight indentation to the canvas visible approximately 15 cm. to the right of the signature in the lower left quadrant. A faint rub mark is visible upon close inspection to the centre right of the top extreme edge. A few pinprick-sized specks of media loss can be seen to the red pigment in the central square and to the blue stripe in particular. No restoration is apparent under UV light.
