Condition

This work is in a generally good condition overall. The two rocks have a few cracks and scratches which are inherent to the medium. There are a few light scratches and spots of soiling on the pedestal, which seem to be inherent to the working method of the artist (caused when placing the rocks on the pedestal).
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Catalogue Note

My work was originally inspired from the Chinese Landscape gardening, however to challenge the definition of Real and Fake. Through exploring the wisdom of two-poles relationship from the traditional Chinese philosophy Yin Yang, which further developed into the core of discussion about the wrestling between the East and the West evolves into the economic and political struggle among the eastern culture and international issue. Our world is closely knitted together with Real and False. By torturing each other through political and economical means, is there an end to the fight of power? What exactly is Real or Fake? Is there, after all, any realness or fakeness?  - Leung Kui-Ting
