Condition

Pile evenly low to knotheads overall with areas of foldwear and oxidation showing spot foundation. 5in. by 2in. reweave in center of rug. 1.5in. by 1in. reweave in lower border. 0.5in. by 2in. reweave in lower end. Rewoven lower end barber pole guard stripe. Scattered repiling, mostly to oxidized dark browns. Small repaired slits at upper end edge. Surface dirt - should enhance with cleaning. Reselvaged with two-cord wool selvages. Supple handle, good vivid color, unusual border design.
