Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/6 of an inch to low to knotheads and spot foundation. Scattered foldwear and surface abrasion throughout, particularly in field. Oxidized browns. Foldwear, surface wear, and oxidization with exposed spot foundation in areas. Scattered repiling. Small reweaves particularly in right border. Largest reweave approximately 3 inches by 3 inches in center medallion. Scattered holes, with the largest being approximately 2 inches by 3 inches in right border. Color runs visible on reverse. Scattered spot stains and some darker heavy stains, also visible on reverse. One approximately 2 inch by 2 inch hardened dark stain/residue in right side guard border. Ends complete with original striped kilim finish. Sides original with some later overcasting and losses to selvages. Very supple handle. Attractive large scale design. Will enhance with cleaning and restoration.
