Condition

Pile generally evenly low to knotheads with areas in border with 1/8in. pile. Oxidized browns and foldwear areas low to knot heads and spot foundation. Repiling scattered throughout field in foldwear worn areas, most visible in yellow and red hooked medallion. Repiling scattered through central and smaller areas in border. Partial ends with barber pole guard stripes, now secured with binding stitch. Sides later overcast in light red wool, now with breaks- recommend securing. Supple handle, unusual variety of figures, birds and animals. Will enhance with cleaning and restoration.
