Condition

Pile ranges from 1/10 of an inch to low to knotheads and spot foundation. Oxidized dark browns. Scattered areas of moth damage, most at lower end, most with exposed spot foundation. Scattered repiling to oxidized browns. Further repiling to other colors. A few small vertical foldwears into lower end guard border. Remnants of original lower end finish. Rewoven upper end flatwoven finish and part of guard stripe. Some color runs on reverse. Sides reselvages in two-cord red wool selvaging. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition.
