Pile is generally low to knotheads throughout with a few scattered areas of slightly higher pile. Scattered rewoven areas, with the largest one being approximately 8 inches by 3 inches in size along left border and 5 inches by 5 inches in lower right section of field. Further smaller scattered reweaves. Scattered repiling, mostly to light brick ground. Upper fifth of field is abrashed into a softer and lighter color. Sides with losses to selvages and some later overcasting. Ends secured with blanket stitch. Scattered visible warp ties. Scattered smaller reweaves in lower end guard border. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition, attractive ivory borders and overall design.
