Pile is generally low to knotheads throughout. Oxidized browns, some repiled. Further extensive repiling to other colors. Some tinting, most to dark blue field. One approximately 1 yard repaired slit into upper end. Further smaller slits into lower end. All slits are probably results of earlier repairs, not of foldwear. Sides reselvaged in brown wool. Ends secured with chain stitch. Rewoven outer guard stripes and partially rewoven lower end guard border. Flexible handle, attractive overall design, restored, ready for use.
