Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/8in. to low to knotheads in areas of wear. Scattered foldwear. Small, approximately 2in., repaired slits into upper end. some unrepaired smaller slits into both ends. Some further small scattered repaired slits in field - not extensive. scattered areas of fragile foundation some stabilized with stitching or duct tape on reverse. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt - recommend cleaning. Sides partially overcast with some areas with losses to selvages and fraying - recommend securing. Ends missing outer guard stripes, now secured with duct tape - recommend proper restoration. Lustrous wool, supple handle, will enhance with restoration and cleaning.
