- approximately 16ft. 1in. by 11ft. 1in. (4.90 by 3.38m.)
Condition
Pile is approximately 1/8 of an inch throughout with a few scattered areas of slightly lower pile due to surface wear. Lower right corner with some repaired slits and restitching into end border, with the longest repaired slit being approximately 8 inches. Lower left corner with similar restitching but in a smaller area. One, 1in. by 1in. L-shaped restitched slit southeast of medallion. Ends with a minor quarter-sized reweave. Center of lower end guard stripes with some slits to pile with foundation intact, recommend securing. Few scattered visible warp ties. Dark blue field with some light blue abrash striations. One 3 inch wide abrash running through half of field being the most noticeable. Sides slightly curling under due to density of weave. Losses to selvages most on left side, recommend securing. Ends with original cotton warp fringes. Fine weave, supple handle, will enhance with minor restoration, otherwise ready for use.
