Condition

Pile generally evenly low to knotheads with scattered spot foundation showing due to foldwear. Some Kashmir repiling to foldwear areas - not extensive. Dark blue, possibly ink, stains in lower left corner - recommend cleaning. Losses to checkerboard ends, now secured with binding stitch. Sides with clumsy later polychrome overcasting with some fraying in areas. Very supple handle, lustrous wool, muted colors.
