Condition

Pile ranges from 1/8 of an inch to low to knotheads and spot foundation in oxidized and foldwear areas. Oxidized greens. Scattered foldwear. Some scattered areas of exposed foundation, with the largest being approximately 3 inches by 5 inches in lower section of field. Another larger but less exposed area above. One oxidized green palmette with most of foundation showing nearby. Similar smaller areas of oxidization in border. Small puncture hole in lower left corner of field. Scattered spot stains. Upper end secured with chain stitch. Sides with losses to selvages, recommend securing. Scattered visible warp ties. Original flatwoven lower end finish. Supple handle, sound fabric, will enhance with restoration.
