Condition

Pile is generally good, near original, approximately 1/8 of an inch throughout. Very small (approximately 1 inch by 1/2 inch) reweave in right side outer guard border. Some very minor moth damage in upper end border and guard border and in left outer guard border. Some moth damaged areas also visible on reverse at lower end. Sides mostly original with some very minor overcasting in areas. Lower end complete with original knotted warp fringes. Upper end complete with flatwoven finish and warp fringes. Lower end secured with binding stitch. Flexible handle, highly lustrous wool, very good overall condition, ready for use.
