Condition

Pile generally good, near original approximate 1/6 to 1/8 inch overall. Some light browns clipped slightly lower to create relief effect. Carpet has been chemically washed to soften colors. Ends missing outer guard stripes, now secured with loose blanket stitch. Sides later overcast in dark blue wool. Sides curling under slightly due to density of weave. Good dense pile and lustrous wool, flexible handle, and good overall condition.
