Condition

Pile ranges from 1/8 of an inch to low to knotheads and one small area of spot foundation. Minor scattered foldwear, some with exposed minor spot foundation. Some scattered visible warp ties. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt including in the upper left section minor white hardened stains in left border, and a few similar scattered spots. Some depressed furniture marks in lower end, the largest being an L-shaped approximately 4 inch by 1 inch, with the pile slightly matted down and hardened. Original flatwoven upper end finish. Upper end secured with binding stitch. Sides with losses to selvages on right side, some later overcasting. Lustrous wool, good overall condition, will enhance with cleaning.
