Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/8 of an inch to low to knotheads in spot foundation. Pile is particularly low in an approximately 7 inch band across field and one vertical line due to surface wear. Some visible lazy lines. Scattered moth damage throughout upper half of carpet, particularly in left border at upper section of field. One approximately 4ft. long repaired vertical slit on left side. One approximately 6 inch repaired slit nearby. Scattered repiling. 1 inch by 12 inch reweave to upper left corner in guard stripe. 1 inch by 2 inch reweave in upper right corner in side guard stripe. Small 1 inch by 1 inch reweave in left guard stripe. Numerous small slits ranging from 1 inch to 3 inches into lower end border, some loosely restitched. Sides with losses and fraying to selvages. Very supple handle, lustrous wool, very attractive light color palette, will enhance with some restoration.
