- approximately 8ft. 9in by 4ft. 10in. (2.67 by 1.47m.)
Condition
Pile ranges from 1/6 of an inch to low to knotheads. Partially oxidized browns. Scattered small reweaves, including areas of approximately 1inches by 1 inches and 1/2 inches by 1/2 inches by lower medallion. Another reweave of approximately 1inch by 1 inch in lower left border of field. Some reweaves in borders, with the largest being approximately 3 inches by 1 inch in left border. Further smaller scattered reweaves. One approximately 3 inch repaired slit into left border. One small approximately 1/2 inch slit in left border. Some scattered small repiled areas. Rewoven upper end guard stripe and flatwoven finish. Lower end secured with chain stitch. Sides mostly original with some later restorations. Supple handle, good overall condition, design with amusing female figures, will enhance with light cleaning.
