Condition

Pile is low to knotheads and foundation with a 2 foot by 1-1/2 inch reweave in field, including an inserted plain woven patch and smaller reweaves in same area with the design painted in. Similar small scattered repairs with tinting overall, and some areas just showing foundation. Sides with added on two-cord selvages. Minor partial ends, now secured with a binding stitch. A 2-1/2 inch vertical slit in lower right corner, not serious. Chemically washed to soften colors. Flexible handle, elegant version of garden design, subtle coloring.
