Condition

Pile is generally good, near original, approximately 1/10 of an inch overall. Carpet is slightly striated due to abrash. Upper end of field has 1 inch minor vertical foldwear, not serious. Original polychrome silk warp fringess with some minor fraying at upper end. Original silk selvages. Very supple handle, very good overall condition.
