Condition
Pile generally good, very closely sheared 1/10 inch with dark and medium browns oxidized to knotheads, some areas of field also low to knot heads. Small scattered areas of repiling (not serious) and repiled moth damage along edges, small (1-1/2 inch) repaired slits along end edges.
Ends with knotted warp fringes, some minor losses into end guard border. Upper end now with cloth band sewn to reverse.
Sides with some later overcasting; thus sides and end secured.
Flexible handle, good color, unusual design, sound fabric and good overall condition.
