Pile generally low to knotheads and foundation throughout. Oxidized dark browns with exposed foundation in most areas. Scattered foldwear, most with exposed warps and wefts. Scattered visible lazy lines. Scattered small holes, with the largest being approximately 1in. by 0.5in. in size. Small 1in. by 0.5in. reweave in center of field. Lower end guard border with cotton whites. Sides with losses to original four-cord wool selvages, most to left side - recommend securing. Ends complete with original kilim ends. Supple handle, sound fabric, very attractive and unusual carnation-fret border.
