Condition

Seat back: Pile ranges from 1/10 of an inch to low to knotheads in foldwear areas. Foldwear most visible across seat back. Some visible abrash in borders, particularly on left side. Original flatwoven ends. Losses to selvages. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition. Silk rug: Pile ranges from 1/10 of an inch to low to knotheads and spot foundation. Visible warps and wefts throghout areas throughout areas of oxidization, some with minor repiling. Losses to selvages in areas. Some later crude overcasting. Ends secured with binding stitch. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition.
