Condition

Pile ranges from approximately 1/5 of an inch to low to knotheads and spot foundation. Pile is generally better in border. Oxidized browns throughout, most with exposed spot foundation. Lower end guard border almost completely missing pile. Scattered foldwear, also with exposed spot foundation. Scattered repiling. Few rows of knots missing at upper end, now secured with machine stitching. Lower end with small losses, partially secured with same machine stitching. Barber pole selvages with losses in areas, most on right side. Supple handle, lustrous wool, will enhance with restoration.
