Pile ranges from approximately 1/8 of an inch to knotheads in spot foundation. Oxidized dark browns. Scattered foldwear, some repiled. Scattered moth damage, some with exposed warps and wefts. Repiled areas in border and field, most visible in field. One approximately 3 inch repaired vertical slit in right corner. One small 3 inch by 1 inch restitched area also in right border at upper end. Sides reselvaged with two-cord madder red wool. Some abrasions and losses. Losses to upper end corners. Ends secured with chain stitch. Ends with remnants of original flatwoven finish. Small reweaves in end guard borders. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition, will enhance with minor restoration.
