Condition

Pile ranges from near original, thick 1/5in. in borders and some areas of field, with most of field low to knotheads. Foldwear areas and dark frowns oxidized to knotheads. A 20in. by 2in. repiled area in lower end of field, probably due to foldwear. A 10in. by 10in. repiled area in right center side of field. Original half inch kilim end finishes with some losses and fraying - not serious. Original two-cord polychrome selvages with some later overcasting. Lustrous wool, supple handle, good overall condition, ready for use.
