Condition

Original canvas. Scattered craquelure and signs of minor paint lifting. Stretcher marks run across the upper border and horizontally and vertically through the centre. Ultraviolet light reveals a spot of retouching to the upper left of the sky and a line of retouching to part of a stretcher mark at the centre of the composition. Held in a decorative gilded composite frame.
