Condition
The canvas has been relined. Some scattered craquelure; otherwise good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a line of retiouching (approx. 7in.) in the upper left, patches to the lower cntre, lower right and to the tree on the left. Scattered spots elsewhere under a thick varnish. Held in an ornate plaster gilt frame.
