Condition

Original canvas. There is a small spot of paint loss, upper right, and some light scattered craquelure. A stretcher mark runs across the lower border. Ultraviolet light reveals some scattered spots of retouching to the hair of the sitter although an opaque varnish prevents a conclusive examination. Held in a decorative gold composite frame with some wear.
